Many of you have probably spent countless hours playing Desktop Tower Defense, like myself, well now there is a version of this hugely popular game available on the iPhone, called Fieldrunners.

Fieldrunners gives you a blank field where you have to create your own defense by buying and setting up towers.

In Fieldrunners there are four towers to buy, with different ranges and levels of defense.

• Gatling Tower - short range, cheap
• Goo Tower - slows enemy down
• Missile Tower - long range, good against air units
• Lightning Tower - powerful, expensive

From the screenshots the games looks pretty good, and apparently it will soon be getting an upgrade with more levels and maps, and new towers.
